Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first and second respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 28.11.2019 and 13.08.2020, pending on its file, on merits within a period as may be stipulated by this Court and until such time not to finalise the list for recruitment to Indian Administrative Service (IAS) by selection from the State Service candidates for the vacancies arose pursuant to the year 2017.

ORDER
The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the first and second respondents to dispose the petitioner's representation dated 28.11.2019 and 13.08.2020 and consider the same within a stipulated period and also give a direction not to finalise the list of recruitment for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) for the vacancies arose the year 2017.
2. Heard the submissions made by both side learned counsels and perused the materials available on record.

It is learnt that the selection process in respect of the vacancies for which a direction has been sought has already been over and in fact, the subsequent selection process for the subsequent few years have also been completed. In such case, nothing remains for consideration and the petitioner is at liberty to give a fresh representation to the first and second respondents in order to include him in any ensuing panel for selection and request the respondents to consider him. In the event that the petitioner's representation is received by the first and second respondents, the first and second respondents shall consider the same and pass the necessary order in accordance with their eligibility, entitlements, and rules within a period of four weeks from the date on which the representation is submitted by the petitioner.
4. With the above observation, this Writ Petition is disposed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 31.10.2023 Index : Yes Internet : Yes/No jrs 3/4
