This petition has been filed by the defactocomplainant to direct the second respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.10 of 2017 at early.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that when the petitioner was studying in "Nursing Course" at T.C.R. Hospital, Krishnagiri, the accused gave a false promise and had sexual intercourse with the petitioner and subsequently, he refused to marry her and hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint on 05.12.2017 and based on the same, the second respondent has registered a case in Crime No.10 of 2017, under Sections 294 (b), 417 and 376 of Indian Penal Code 1860. He further submitted that the accused is a Soldier serving in the Army. But the respondent has not taken any steps to secure the accused and complete the investigation at early.

3. The learned Public Prosecutor (Crl. Side) has submitted that even in the month of December 2017, the first respondent has sent a letter to the Commanding Officer, requesting him to direct the accused to appear before the second respondent, but so far, no reply received and hence, the investigation is pending.
4. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the second respondent is directed to take effective steps to secure the accused and complete the investigation at early and file a final report within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With this above observations, the criminal original petition stands disposed of.
