ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.177 of 2020 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sholingar.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that the matter has already been settled between the parties.

3. Since the dispute is of civil nature and memo of undertaking has been filed by the petitioners and the defacto complainant stating that that the matter has been settled between the parties through mediation and the defacto complainant has agreed to withdraw the proceedings in C.C.No.177 of 2020 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sholingar, this Court is inclined to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.177 of 2020 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sholingar.

4. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the proceedings in C.C.No.177 of 2020 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sholingar is quashed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
