Respondents PRAYER Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pass orders for promotion of the petitioner to the post of Higher Secondary School Headmaster by reckoning seniority from the date of her initial appointment to the post of PG Assistant on 20.10.1997 as per Teacher Recruitment Board order and consequently promote the petitioner to the post of Higher Secondary School Headmaster with all consequential and other attendant benefits.

The petition has been filed to direct the respondents to pass an order for promotion of the petitioner to the post of Higher Secondary School Headmaster by reckoning seniority from the date of her initial appointment to the post of PG Assistant and consequently to promote the petitioner to the post of Higher Secondary School Headmaster with all consequential and other attendant benefits.
