On a complaint given by one Thanigaiselvan, the police has called the petitioner herein on several occasions and inspite of explaining that it 1/4

is purely money dispute regarding loan advanced to the petitioner, the respondent police has repeatedly calling the petitioner and harassing. 2.

To the above said averments and allegations, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police states that on the complaint given by Thanigaiselvan this petitioner was called and the petitioner appeared on 07.02.2024, 13.02.2024 and 15.02.2024 and given an undertaking that if in future his presence is required, he will appear on summons except that there is no harassment as alleged.

This Court finds that apparently the complaint is in the nature of civil dispute in connection with money advanced. The petitioner has already cooperated with the enquiry and it is now stated by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) that the defacto complainant has not turned up after giving this complaint. 4.

In such circumstances, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner in future on the complaint given by Thanigaiselvan. 2/4
