ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.854 of 2018 on the file of the respondent, within a stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police.

3. Mr.Leonard Arul Joseph Selvam, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that the investigation has been completed and the First Information Report in Crime No. 854 of 2018 has been closed as Mistake of Fact on 05.03.2019. He also submits that the respondent police has also filed the Negative Final report before the Judicial Magistrate, Arani and the same has not been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

taken on file and RCS notice has also been served on the petitioner.

4. In such view of the matter, there can not be any direction issued to the respondent police as sought by the petitioner and it is for the petitioner to workout his remedy in the manner known to law.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
