Respondents Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order issued by the second respondent under reference No.17735/P&D III/2/18 dated 16.07.2020 and quash the same and direct the respondents to regularize the services of the petitioner from the date of their appointment. 1/4

O R D E R

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this writ petition is filed against the order of termination issued by the respondents, terminating the service of the petitioner who is working on contract basis. 2.

During the course of hearing, today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents placed a copy of the status report sent by the second respondent.

On perusal of the same, it appears that the petitioner is reinstated purely on contract basis, as per Rules and Regulations and allowed her to work at the place of posting where she has worked earlier, vide proceedings in Ref.No.40098/P&D3 (2)/2020 dated 26.06.2023 of the Director of Medical and Rural Health Services, Chennai-06.

Learned Additional Government Pleader submits that already the petitioner joined into the duty.

Learned counsel for the petitioner also accepted that the respondents issued proceedings on 26.06.2023 and the petitioner is allowed to join in service. 6.

The status report submitted by the learned Additional Government Pleader is placed on record.

For the above mentioned reasons, in my considered view, no further adjudication is required in this present case. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
