O R D E R
The writ petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 19.05.2017, seeking arrears of salary for the period from 11.08.2008 to 18.02.2016, for having rendered service as Assistant Professor (Chemistry) in the 3rd respondent college.
2. The petitioner was appointed as Assistant Professor in Chemistry Department in the third respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
college. His educational qualifications were approved by the University and therefore, the second respondent has issued order in Pa.Mu.No.11934/Aa3/2008 dated 03.05.2016 approving his appointment with effect from 11.08.2008 on notional basis and with effect from 19.02.2016 with monetary benefits. Aggrieved by the non-payment of arrears of salary from the date of her initial appointment, the petitioner has made representations dated 17.04.2017, 19.05.2017 which are all pending before the respondents 1 and 2.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice that ift the first respondent herein is directed to pass orders, after considering the representation, within a stipulated time.
4. Mr.T.M.Pappiah, learned Special Government Pleader would submit that eight weeks time may be granted to dispose of the said representations.
5. Accordingly, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the said representations on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the same to the petitioner.
With the above observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
