PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent dated 03.04.2024 in Memo Rc.No.60/2024/M6-D.O.No.16/2024 against the petitioner husband Kadhar @ Sheik Kadhar, M/37 years, Son of Saleem, who is confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai and set aside the same and consequently direct the respondents to produce the detenu before the Court and set him at liberty. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.3145, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 23.05.2024, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.

2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
