Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the second respondent to issue patta and to effect the mutation of revenue records for the land situated in Ka.Sa.1378/2, Ka.Sa.1377 and Ka.Sa.1378/1, Pachchaapalayam village, Kangayam Taluk belonging to the petitioner for the mutation of the revenue records in the name of the petitioner.

O R D E R

The petitioners have filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to issue patta and to effect the mutation of revenue records for the land situated in Ka.Sa.1378/2, Ka.Sa.1377 and Ka.Sa.1378/1, Pachchaapalayam village, Kangayam Taluk belonging to them for the mutation of the revenue records in their name. 2.Mr.V.Balamurugane, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that in spite of the 2nd petitioner's representation dated 28.01.2017, the second respondent has not

passed any order so far. Therefore, the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the representation within a time frame. 3.Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents submitted that the second respondent may be directed to consider the 2nd petitioner's representation dated 28.01.2017 in accordance with law. 4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the second respondent to consider the 2nd petitioner's representation dated 28.01.2017 and pass orders, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
