These writ petitions have been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Çertiorari calling for the records of the first respondents in Section 8 Distraint Order dated 23.7.2015 with respect to the vehicle Nos.TN 32 C 5716 and TN 21 AE 3553 and quash the same.
For Petitioner : Mr.S.Sandeep For Respondent -1: Mr.S.Manoharsundaram Additional Government Pleader (T) C O M M O N O R D E R The petitioners have filed these writ petitions seeking issuance of Writ of Certiorari calling for the records of the first respondent pursuant to the Section 8 Distraint Order dated 23.7.2015 in respect of the vehicles bearing registration Nos.TN 32 C 5716 and TN 21 AE 3553 and quash the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioners would state that the petitioners are the owner of the vehicles and the vehicles have been let out for rent to the second respondent and the petitioners have not committed any illegality of in arrears of taxes. Hence the petitioners sought for quashing of the Distraint Order of the first respondent.
4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent submitted a letter dated 17.08.2015, stating that after filing of these Writ Petitions, after verification of necessary documents the vehicles were released to the petitioners on 15.08.2015 and hence nothing survives in these writ petitions.
5. The learned counsel for the petitioners has not refuted the said contentions.
6. Recording the submissions of the learned Additional Government Pleader, the writ petitions are dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connection miscellaneous petitions are closed.
