Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the 3rd respondent in its Na.Ka.No.1745/A/2016 dated 10.08.2016 and the consequential order of the 3rd respondent in its Na.Ka.No.1745/A/2016-1 dated 11.08.2016 and quash the same and consequently, direct the respondents to fill up the post of Driver Mechanic and other higher post strictly in accordance with original seniority at the level of Fireman in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.352 (Home department ) dated 14.05.2012.

O R D E R

This Court by an order dated 17.09.2019 had directed Mr.Vijay Shankar, the erstwhile counsel in this writ petition to appear before this Court today to give his consent for Change of Vakkalat nama.

Mr.Vijay Shankar, learned counsel has appeared before this Court today and has given change of Vakkalat to M/s. Ambigapathi, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner.

Mr.S.Ambigapathi, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted a letter dated 09.08.2019, addressed to the Registrar (Judicial), High Court of Madras, informing that he has got instructions from his client to withdraw the writ petition. The said letter is taken on record. An endorsement to the said effect is also made in the writ petition. 4.

In view of the letter submitted and the endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
