This case came up for settlement before the Lok Adalat. Mr.C.Munusamy, counsel for the respondents 1 & 2 is present. TERMS OF SETTLEMENT Mr.Swarnaraj, Superintendent of Civil Supplies Corporation/Respondents 1 & 2 and counsel for the respondents 1 & 2 are present.
2. The writ petition filed for grant of arrears of retiral benefits. There are four petitioners in this writ petition, out of which, the fourth petitioner, viz., A.Abdul Sathar died. The other three petitioners have given letters saying that all the arrears of ritiral benefits have been given by the respondents 1 & 2. This is also confirmed by the counsel for the respondents. Copy of the proceedings of the Regional Manager, Vellore is also filed herein. It is also represented that the fourth petitioner has also received the retiral benefits before the death.
3. In view of the aforesaid letters filed which are recorded. The Writ Petition is closed on the ground of relief already given.
4. In view of the proceedings of the Regional Manager, Vellore as well as letters written by the petitioners 1 to 3 to the Regional Manager, Vellore, their presence are dispensed with. Sd/- Sd/- Sd/- Counsel for the Respondents 1 & 2 This Lok Adalat award is passed in terms of the above settlement.
The full Court fee paid shall be refunded to the petitioners 1 to 3 in the manner provided under Section 69-A of the Tamil Nadu Court-Fees and Suits Valuation Act, 1955 and the Court Fees Act, 1870 as provided for under sub Sec.1 of Section 21 r/w 25 of LSA Act 1987 as amended in 1994.
