O R D E R

The petitioner is an Ex-Serviceman. The petitioner was appointed in the Tamilnadu Police Service. The petitioner joined service on 01.01.1996. His services were regularised pursuant to the Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.522 Home (Pol.12) Department, dated 24.06.2005.

The petitioner retired from service on 31.07.2014. However, he was not paid pension as he served only for a period of 9 years and 1 month, after his absorption in Police Service.

2. The petitioner thereafter submitted a representation dated 20.12.2014 requesting the second respondent to consider his earlier service from 01.01.1996 along with the subsequent service for the purpose of computing total period for pension. The present request is to direct the second respondent to consider the said representation on merits.

3. The second respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 20.12.2014 on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The Writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. Sd/- Asst. Registrar.
