By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner, while working as Computer Service Engineer, Computer Service Wing, Annamalai University, was placed under suspension vide order dated 05.09.2014 on the ground that he was arrested on 01.09.2014 and remanded to judicial custody upto 12.09.2014 with regard to his involvement in Crime No.457 of 2014 registered by Chidambaram Town Police Station for the commission of offences under Sections 420, 477A, 465, 294 (b), 506(i) IPC. According to the petitioner, false case came to be registered against him based on the complaint given by Tmt.R.Geetha, wife of Dr.V.Imayavaramban, Professor, Department of Agronomy, Annamalai University with regard to the affairs of the partnership form viz., M/s.MG Associates. It is the further stand of the petitioner that he has nothing to do with the affairs of the said firm and he has been falsely implicated and arrested and confined for some time. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.Since the petitioner is kept under suspension for nearly one year, he has submitted a representation dated 07.10.2014, praying for review/revocation of the order of suspension, to the respondent and since no response is forthcoming, he submitted a reminder dated 20.10.2014 to the respondent, for that also, he has not been favoured with any kind of response and hence came forward to file this writ petition.

4.Mr.L.Chandrakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that admittedly, the offences are not involving any moral turpitude and based on the false complaint, the petitioner has been arrested and confined for quite sometime and since nearly an year has elapsed, the order of suspension passed against him is to be revoked and hence prays for appropriate orders. 5.The Court heard the submissions of Mr.R.Suresh Kumar, learned counsel, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. 6.This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer and without going into the merits of the same, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 07.10.2014 and reminder dated 20.10.2014 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
