The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the third respondent to permit him to attend the 5th Semester classes of B.B.A., for the academic year 2017-2018 in the third respondent college.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that though he is having sufficient attendance in the previous Semesters, he is not permitted to attend the 5th Semesters classes of B.B.A., course in the academic year 2017-2018. It appears that ventilating such grievance, the petitioner has already made a complaint to the second respondent on 21.02.2017, who in turn through proceedings dated 28.02.2017, directed the third respondent to look into the same and report. It is stated that till this date, the third respondent has not taken any steps to look into the grievance of the petitioner as directed by the second respondent.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader, based on instructions, submitted that the third respondent will conduct an enquiry and pass appropriate orders within the time stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the above stated facts and circumstances and the submissions made by the respective counsels, this writ petition is disposed of, by directing the third respondent to look into the grievance of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, as directed by the second respondent through proceedings dated 28.02.2017. Such exercise shall be done by the third respondent within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
