The present criminal original petition to direct the second respondent police to conduct investigation and register a case based on the complaint of the petitioner dated 14.06.2015 and to file a final report.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against one Natarajan and his associates in respect of land dispute.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite the allegations made in the complaint disclose commission of cognizable offence, the second respondent has not registered the case so far.

5. Today when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on receipt of the complaint, C.S.R.No.158 of 2015 has been assigned and on completion of investigation, the same was closed on 22.09.2015 since it is a civil dispute.
