ORDER

Heard Ms.V.Srimathi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Yashwanth, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

2.The writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent to pass appropriate orders in the proceedings Se.Mu.Na.Ka.No.39416/2018/L1, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

3.On a set of proven charges, the petitioner was proceeded with departmental action. Admittedly, the Enquiry Officer had submitted a report in the month of May 2022 itself and further orders are pending before the second respondent herein.

4.It is rather disappointing to note that though one year has lapsed after the enquiry has been concluded and the report has been filed, the Commissioner has been stalling the proceedings without passing final orders.

5.In this background, it would be appropriate to direct the Commissioner to take a final call, within a stipulated time in accordance with law.

6.Accordingly, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to pass final orders, based on the enquiry conducted against the petitioner, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
