This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the third respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner, alleging a life threat from the fourth respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the third respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the petitioner's complaint dated 04.04.2024, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the fourth respondent, and pass orders to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
