This petition has been file to direct the respondent to take necessary action on the basis of the complaint presented by the petitioner on 03.10.2015 to register First Information Report and investigate the matter and to file a final report in a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner has lodged a complaint as against one Thangavel on the allegation of land grabbing. Though the complaint was lodged on 03.10.2015, no action was taken on the said complaint. Hence, the present petition.

3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

4. Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the second respondent to conduct an enquiry on the complaint dated 3.10.2015 given by the petitioner, if enquiry was not conducted so far and upon enquiry, if the materials gathered indicates commission of any cognizable offence, he is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.

5. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
