This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 17.03.2020 within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the appeal filed by the petitioner has been taken on file and the second respondent has fixed the date of enquiry on 23.09.2020 at 11.00 A.M. and orders will be passed within the time stipulated by this Court.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the appeal preferred by the petitioner has been taken on file, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to conduct the enquiry and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
