ORDER

The petitioner is before this Court on an apprehension that the location of the Tamil Nadu Retail Vending Liquor Shop No.708 will be shifted from the petitioner's building on account of public interest litigation filed by one V.Ranga in W.P.No.23524 of 2017 to forbear the respondents from opening a TASMAC liquor shop or bar at Pelliamman Koil Street, Ward No.180, Taramani, Chennai, in contravention of the relevant Rules. 2.The Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court, by order dated 01.09.2017, has disposed of the writ petition by directing the authorities to consider the representation of the said V.Ranga. 3.The learned Standing Counsel for the TASMAC points out that the direction has been given to the TASMAC and the time limit is yet to be over. learned Standing Counsel for the TASMAC is that the writ petition is premature and is sustainable. Therefore, the petitioner should await the decision in the matter. 4.Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of, leaving it open to the respondent TASMAC to take a decision as per the direction of the Hon'ble Division Bench.
