Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue Death Certificate of Masilamani, who died on 24.03.2007 at Coimbatore Medical College Hospital, by considering the application of the petitioner dated 09.02.2018. This writ petition has been filed seeking for mandamus directing the respondents to issue death certificate of Masilamani, who died on 24.03.2007 at Coimbatore Medical College Hospital, by considering the application of the petitioner dated 09.02.2018.

2. Heard both sides.

3. According to the petitioner, her sister namely, Masilamani died on 24.03.2007 at Coimbatore Medical College Hospital. Hence, the petitioner made a representation to the 4th respondent on 09.02.2018 seeking for issuance of Death Certificate for her deceased sister Masilamani. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the said representation has not been considered by the respondents so far. Hence, the present writ petition is filed with the relief as stated supra.

4. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondents to consider and decide the same. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.02.2018 and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
