Respondents Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the second respondent dated 13.04.2021 in BCDFGISSSV No.12/2021 against the petitioner's brother Amanullah s/o.Aaja, aged 25 years, who is confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by S.SRIMATHY, J] The petitioner is sister of the detenu viz., Amanullah s/o.Aaja, aged 25 years. The detenu has been detained by the second respondent by his order in BCDFGISSSV No.12/2021 dated 13.04.2021, holding him to be a "Drug Offender", as contemplated under Section 2(e) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. The said order is under challenge in this Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the detention order passed against the detenu in BCDFGISSSV No.12/2021 dated 13.04.2021, on the file of the second respondent is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.2665, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 14.06.2021 and produced a copy of the said order.

In view of the above, this petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
