ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents police to consider the representations submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders for conducting temple festivals and cultural programmes.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that even though the petitioner has submitted representation before the respondents well in advance seeking permission and police protection for conducting temple festival and also for conducting cultural programmes, so far the respondents police have not passed any order and hence he requests to direct the respondents police to dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner at an early date. 3.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has submitted that because of the law and order problem the representation is kept pending. 4.

Considering the aforesaid submissions, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioners' representation and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law before the date of the programme and intimate the same to the concerned petitioner.

With the above observation and direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
