When the matter was called on 25.08.2023, the learned counsel for the petitioner would state that he was not able to contact the petitioner and 2/5

therefore, he wanted to remove his name from the cause list. This Court, directed the Registry to delete the name of the counsel for the petitioner and to print the name of the petitioner in the cause list.

2. Accordingly, the name of the petitioner is printed in the cause list today. Today, when the matter is called, neither the petitioner is present nor represented by any other counsel. The matter is of the year 2018. The learned counsel, who appeared for the petitioner, is also not able to contact the petitioner. There is no useful purpose in keeping the writ petition pending. Therefore, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. (J.N.B.,J.)
