The complaint in Cr.No.3 of 2020 for the alleged offence under Sections 498A, 294(b), 324 and 506(i) of IPC r/w Section 4 of Dowry 1/3
Prohibition Act, 1961 is sought to be investigated within a stipulated time and file final report.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police on instructions states that investigation in this crime number already been completed and found that it is a " mistake of fact" . The action dropped report already submitted to the learned Judicial Magistrate and also intimated to the defacto complainant on 26.08.2021.
3. If it is so, the petitioner's remedy is to file protest petition and proceed, since the complaint has already been investigated and closed.
4. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
