The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the interview, in which the writ petitioner had participated was cancelled by the competent authorities and nobody was appointed in the particular selection process.
2. This apart, all appointments are to be made only by following the recruitment Rules in force and the mere participation in the selection process will not confer any legal right on the candidates so as to claim appointment. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. In this view of the matter, no further adjudication is required on merits and grounds raised in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
