ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the 1st and 2nd respondents to provide adequate police protection to enable of demolition of the 70 years old dilapidated building situated at Door no.1, 1A, 2 and 3 comprised in T.S.No.657, Ward No.2, Block No.14, Nagapattinam Town and District as per the demolition notice / order issued by the 4th respondent vide proceedings Na.Ka.No.3461/2024/F1 Dated 20.03.2026 under Section 136(1) of Tamil Nadu Local Bodies Act, 1998 and based on the petitioner's representation dated 20.03.2026 and

24.03.2026 2.

Considering the circumstances of the case, in order to implement the aforementioned order passed by the fourth respondent, the first respondent is directed to enquire the matter after issuing notice to the petitioner and respondents 5 to 8 and giving opportunity of personal hearing to them, in respect of providing adequate police protection to enable of demolition of the 70 years old dilapidated building situated at Door no.1, 1A, 2 and 3 comprised in T.S.No.657, Ward No.2, Block No.14, Nagapattinam Town and District, and to pass orders to provide adequate police protection, as early as possible. 3.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
