O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking for police protection in order to manage the affairs of Pettai Anjuman-e-Islamiya Jamiya Masjid, situated at Pettai, Namakkal Town, Namakkal District.

2. Admittedly, there is a dispute between the petitioner party and the counter parties regarding the management of the above said Masjid. This dispute cannot be resolved by the police and necessarily the parties will have to approach before the competent authority in order to resolve the dispute.

3. In view of the above, the relief as sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted by this Court in exercise of its jurisdiction under Section 482 Cr.P.C., and the parties are at liberty to approach the appropriate forum and to agitate their rights.

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
