ORDER
By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The present writ petition is filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd Respondent to register the Sale Deed bearing Temporary No.TP/213787858/2025 dated 19.03.2025 executed by the petitioners in favor of Ms.Anandhi.
3.Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that the petitioners are the legal heirs of late Subramanian and lawful owners of the property 2/6
comprised in S.No.46/9, measuring an extent of 1.14 acres 5 cents (2180 sq.ft.) situated at Boothamoor Village, Vriddhachalam Taluk, Cuddalore District.
4.It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that when the sale deed was presented before the 4th respondent for registration, it was refused without even issuing a refusal slip. 5.On this being pointed out, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents would submit that the petitioner may re-present the Sale Deed and the same would be registered if it is otherwise in order. If for any reason, there is a need for refusal of registration of the Sale Deed, they would do so after assigning reason by issuing refusal slip, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for the petitioner. 6.In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondents to register the Sale Deed if it is otherwise in order. If for any reason, there is a need for refusal of registration of the Sale Deed, they would do so after assigning reason by issuing refusal slip. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with 3/6
regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law. No costs.
