ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the 3rd and 4th respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dt. 02.03.2026 and consequently to direct the 3rd and 4th respondents to instruct the 5th respondent to defreeze the petitioner's savings account bearing No. 088801000033775 within the time frame fixed by this Court. 2.

On instruction, the learned Counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side) appearing for respondents 1 to 4 submitted that the Inspector of Police, Cyber Crime Wing, Tambaram registered FIR in crime No.22 of 2025 alleging that the petitioner had cheated nearly 70

persons to the tune of a huge sum and it is pending. Further, on the instruction of the investigation officer, the fifth respondent has frozen the petitioner's bank account. Therefore, while pending investigation, the representation submitted by the petitioner seeking to defreeze his bank account cannot be considered. As such, this writ petition is devoid of merits and the same is liable to be dismissed. 3.

Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
