Mr.D.Ravichander,SGP Order This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to issue patta in the name of the petitioner for the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.The petitioner had purchased the aforesaid property when the property was the subject matter of Urban Land Ceiling Proceedings. Thereafter, the property was regularised under the innocent purchaser scheme of the Government. Hence, the petitioner claims that as on date, the property is a freehold property. In such circumstances, the petitioner had filed an application on 30.01.2026 with the respondents requesting them to issue patta in her name. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3.Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's application, as stated supra, is considered, on merits and in accordance with law,
after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's application.
6.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's application/representation dated 30.01.2026 seeking for change of classification of the property, morefully described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition as well as for issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
