The prayer in the present writ petition is to call for the records pertaining to the orders in proceedings No.88/SGAM(L)/ TNSTC(CBE)/06, dated 09.02.2006 and in proceedings No.4061/E3 / PD-1/TNSTC(CBE)/2006, dated 02.12.2006 passed by the respondent, quash the order dated 09.02.2006 and the order dated 02.12.2006 in so far as granting the petitioner promotion as Selection Grade Assistant Manager only from 09.02.2006 and consequently direct the respondent to grant the petitioner promotion as Selection Grade Assistant Manager, with effect from 27.12.2003, with all arrears and other consequential benefits, award costs. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition without any prejudice and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
