ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner, praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records of the respondents in connection with the impugned order issued by the 1st respondent in Na.Ka.R.V.2/1920/2014, dated 17.04.2015 and to quash the same.

2.It is stated by the petitioner that he was directly appointed as a Salesman in the TASMAC at Tiruvannamalai in the year 2003. On 07.10.2014, the petitioner was placed under suspension and issued with a charge-memo, alleging certain irregularities. Subsequently, after completing the enquiry, the impugned order dated 17.04.2015 was passed by the 1st respondent, in and by which the petitioner was dismissed from service. Aggrieved of the order of dismissal from service, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.Though the petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking to quash the impugned order of dismissal from service, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that against the impugned order, the petitioner has filed an appeal before the 2nd respondent on 08.05.2015 and that if a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent to dispose of the appeal, it would suffice. 4.Heard the learned counsel for the respondent also. 5.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 08.05.2015 preferred by the petitioner against the impugned order of dismissal passed by the 1st respondent, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
