O R D E R

With consent of both sides, this Writ Petition has been taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to survey the petitioners' land with police aid from the second respondent and fix boundaries to the petitioners' land.

3. The petitioners owned the lands measuring an extent of 0.67.5 Hectares comprised in S.F.Nos.31/1A, 31/1B, 31/1D and 31/1E situated at Periyanur Village, Palacode Taluk, Dharmapuri District. In order to fence the same, the petitioners submitted applications to survey the properties before the first respondent along with the requisite fees, and it is still pending without any progress.

In view of the above, the first respondent is directed to survey the petitioners' land, and if he finds any obstruction at the hands of the counter parties, the first respondent can seek police protection before the second respondent to survey the petitioners' properties. On such request, the second respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry and pass orders to provide adequate police protection to the first respondent to survey the petitioners' properties forthwith.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
