ORDER

The communication was sent by the 2nd respondent to the 1st respondent in Pa.Pa.A6/equivalent/3706/2014, dated 25.10.2013, seeking consideration and passing appropriate orders for about 16 courses for the purpose of treating them as equivalent. As no further progress has been made, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that for other University, viz., Madurai Kamarajar University, appropriate Government Orders have been passed. Despite the fact that communication has been sent on 25.10.2013, no Government Order has been passed.

3. Taking into consideration the pendency of the consideration of the communication dated 25.10.2013, without going into the merits of the same, a direction is issued to the 1st respondent to consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, if not passed already, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
