ORDER

The petitioners have come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to dispose of their representation dated 23.08.2018 by extending the time for making balance OTS amount from 26.08.2018.

2.According to the learned counsel for the petitioners, the petitioners have submitted a representation dated 23.08.2018 claiming the same relief as prayed in this writ petition, but, the same is yet to be disposed of by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

3.Though the respondents filed counter affidavit, Mr.T.M.Pappiah, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the first respondent and Mr.D.Kamachi, learned Standing Counsel taking notice for the second respondent, submitted that the case of the petitioners would be considered, if the petitioners approach the second respondent with a fresh proposal for OTS within a stipulated time.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner, in reply, submitted that the petitioner would submit fresh representation to the respondents for consideration.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the petitioners to submit a fresh representation enclosing all the required documents in support of their claim, along with a copy of this order to the second respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such submission, the second respondent is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioners as well as any of the interested parties within a period of two weeks thereafter.
