Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to dispose the petitioner representation dated 22.06.2015 to provide suitable employment as per G.O.Ms.No. 188 Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department dated 28.12.1976.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioner would state that he has studied upto 6th standard in Government School in Corporation of Chennai and his father is ex-service man and he belongs to Christian Adi Dravidar Community. It is further stated by the petitioner that he met with an accident and due to the same, his left ankle got fractured and thereby he suffered disability of 46% (Post Traumatic Stiffness - left ankle) and certificate was also issued by the Government Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine, K.K.Nagar, Chennai 600 083 dated 22.06.2005.

3.The petitioner was working as a male Special Observer, Kilpauk Mental Hospital from 1986 to 1989 and he has also enrolled himself as a person otherwise abled (disabled) with the office of the second respondent dated 08.06.2005 and he has also submitted a representation dated 22.06.2015 to the second respondent to provide him suitable employment in terms of G.O.Ms.No.188 of Personal and Administrative Reforms, Personnel B Department dated 28.12.1976 and since no orders came to be passed, came forward to file this writ petition.

4.Heard the submissions of Mr.C.Venkatesan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 5.Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court without going into the merits of the representation, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 22.06.2015 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
