ORDER

The present writ petition is filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to issue a patta in favour of the petitioner containing sub-division of the petitioner properties comprised in 0.11 Cents out of 0.51 Cents in S.No.160/3 and 0.52 Cents out of 2.66 Acres in S.No.160/4 of Su.Valavetti Village, in Thiruvannamalai Taluk, 2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for petitioner that the petitioner was allotted specific share in immovable properties vide final decree passed in a partition suit in O.S.No.212 of 1998 dated 30.11.2000 by the learned Additional District Munsiff, Thiruvannamalai. 3.It is also submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner had submitted online application for mutation of records on 31.07.2023. The said application has not been considered so far by the 2nd respondent. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has come before this Court. Hence, the writ petition.

4.At the outset, it is submitted by the learned Government Advocate for respondents that the above request of petitioner would be 2/5

considered and appropriate orders would be passed within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner.

5.In view of the same, taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to 2nd respondent to consider the online application dated 31.07.2023 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other interested persons/stake holders, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the application and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the application on its own merits and in accordance with law. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
