ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for records in C.C.No.268 of 2020 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Chengalpattu and direct further investigation of Cr.No.467 of 2018 (on the file of the 3rd respondent) by the 2nd respondent. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that earlier, this Court passed an interim order dated 28.08.2019 in Crl.O.P.No.21688 of 2019 directed the respondent police to investigate the case with the issue that has been raised in this petition and thereafter, disposed of the Crl.O.P.No.21688 of 2019 dated 14.10.2020 with a direction to the respondent police to file a final report within a period of one month from the date of receipt of copy of this order after complying with the order dated 28.08.2019. However, the respondent police did not comply with the abovesaid orders. Hence, the present petition. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that he seeks two months time to complete further investigation in Cr.No.467 of 2018 and file a further report.

4.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the second respondent police is directed to complete further investigation and file further report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
