Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay interest for the belated payment of provident fund, death cum retirement gratuity, encashment of earned leave, surrender leave and commuted value of pension at the rate of 12% per annum within the time frame fixed by this Court.

O R D E R
The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, to direct the respondents to pay interest for the belated payment of provident fund, death cum retirement gratuity, encashment of earned leave, surrender leave and commuted value of pension at the rate of 12% per annum within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
2. It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners, had retired from the services of the first respondent on 30.04.2023, 30.04.2023, 31.05.2023, 31.05.2023, 31.05.2023, 31.05.203 and 31.05.2023, made a representations dated 17.03.2025 to the respondents 2/5
seeking interest for the belated payment of the terminal benefits, there was no response for the same.
3. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

Though there is disputed facts between the parties, taking into consideration of the fact that the representations made by the petitioners are yet to be considered, this Court without going into merits of the matter, deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to pay the eligible and admissible amount with interest at the rate of 6% per annum for the belated payment to the petitioners within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a coy of this order.
5. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
