This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the third respondent to act upon the online application submitted by the petitioner wherein the petitioner is seeking for issuance of computer patta in his name with respect to the subject property.
2. Heard Mr.B.Sundarapandian, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents.
3. It is seen from records that manual patta stands in the name of the petitioner in Patta No.21. The petitioner made a representation on 02.09.2024 seeking for computer patta. The same was not considered, the 2/4
petitioner submitted an online application on 27.03.2025. Since it was also not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that already patta stands in the name of the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to take steps to issue computer patta in the name of the petitioner within a period of four
(4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
