ORDER

The petitioners/A3 to A5, who apprehend arrest for the alleged offence under Section 4(3) of the Tamil Nadu Gaming and Police Laws Act r/w 318 (4) of BNSS in Crime No.168 of 2025, on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners, along with other accused, were involved in the illegal gambling activities (known as "Cotton"). Hence, the case.

3. There is no representation on behalf of the petitioners/A3 to A5.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent would strongly oppose the anticipatory bail application on the ground that the first

petitioner has got eight previous cases and the second and third petitioners have no previous cases. However, this is a case of gambling, which has gotten greater amplification in the society. Therefore, this Court is of the firm view that the petitioners do not deserve anticipatory bail.
