This contempt case is filed for non-compliance and willful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 07.01.2025 in W.P.No.3711 of 2020, which order has been confirmed by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court vide order dated 21.07.2025 in W.A.No.2181 of 2025, whereby the respondent was directed to forward the proposal to the Directorate of Collegiate Education within a period of eight weeks from 21.07.2025, with a further direction to the Directorate of Collegiate Education to clear the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the proposals from the respondent.

2. On the contempt case is taken up for hearing on admission, on behalf of the respondent, it was submitted that the proposal was forwarded to the Joint Director of Collegiate Education on 08.08.2025 and the Joint Director, vide proceedings dated 23.09.2025, approved the aforesaid proposal.

3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent submits that since, the respondent has forwarded the proposal, which has also been approved by the Joint Director of Collegiate Education, now, the matter remains pending only for making necessary payments by the Government. 2/5

In view of the aforesaid submission, since the respondent has forwarded the proposal to the concerned authorities as directed by the Division Bench in W.A.No.2181 of 2025 and the said proposal having also been approved vide proceedings dated 23.09.2025, this Court is of view that the respondent has complied with the direction of this Court and accordingly, there is no necessity to proceed further with the contempt case. Accordingly, this Contempt case is closed.
