O R D E R
The petitioner has approached this Court, seeking the following relief:- "To issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to survey and measure the property based on title deeds at S.No.434/1A and 434/1C, Chettipuniyam Village, Chengalpattu Taluk, Kancheepuram District, with the assistance of 2nd respondent and further direct the 1st respondent issue patta in respect of the aforesaid property. " 2.The petitioner is an agriculturist. According to him, some persons who have purchased neighbouring lands, are disturbing his peaceful possession and enjoyment of the property under occupation as given in Survey Number mentioned in the prayer of the writ petition.
3.Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court seeking to direct the respondents to survey and measure the property based on the title deeds in Survey Nos.434/1A and 434/1C with the assistance of the second respondent and also on the basis of such survey and inspection, grant patta in respect of the aforesaid property.

4.The direction sought for in the writ petition is limited in its scope for which the learned Special Government Pleader has no valid objection. In view of the same, the first respondent is directed to survey and measure the property in Survey Nos.434/1A and 434/1C with the assistance of the second respondent and communicate the decision to the petitioner forthwith.
5.On the basis of survey and inspection, the respondents shall also consider the request of the petitioner for grant of patta for the aforesaid land and the direction shall be complied with by the respondents within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
