By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

Mr.Mr.P.Sanjai Gandhi, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

2.The petitioner would aver that her father, viz., Subramani, was employed as Blasting Helper in the office of the respondent and he died in harness on 02.06.2014, leaving behind his wife [mother of the petitioner], two daughters, viz., the petitioner herein and Tmt.Jayanthi, as his legal heirs. The petitioner would further aver that she and her husband are taking care and custody of their mother and grandmother and all are living under one roof for the past two years. The petitioner would further state that out of wedlock, she also begot two school going children aged 13 and 8 years respectively.

It is the further submission of the petitioner that her husband is eking out his livelihood as an agricultural coolie and with meager income, they are extremely finding it difficult to make both ends meet and therefore, prays for appointment on compassionate ground, vide application / representation date 21.08.2014, enclosing all necessary documents. It is also followed by a reminder representation dated 12.08.2015 and since no orders have been passed, the petitioner came forward to file the present writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sanjay Gandhi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 4.Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the above facts and circumstances, and without going into the merits of the same, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representations/applications dated 21.08.2014 and 12.08.2015 respectively on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.

5.The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
