ORDER
When the matter was taken up for hearing today, a copy of the proceedings in G.O.(2D)No.412, Revenue and Disaster Management Department dated 20.06.2025 was placed before this Court. It is seen that the petitioner had been granted notional promotion to the post of Tahsildar. What is left is the promotion to the post of Deputy Collector.
2. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the proceedings of the second respondent dated 06.05.2024 pertain to the promotion of the petitioner as Tahsildar and the same has been complied with. Insofar as the promotion sought for by the petitioner as Deputy Collector, it is a consequential action, which will follow suit within a reasonable time.
3. Recording the above, this contempt petition stands closed. Index : yes/no 23.06.2025 ss
