Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner seeks a mandamus directing the respondents to consider her representation dated 12.07.2017, wherein and whereby she sought for grant of free house site patta on the basis of certain Government orders granting such benefits to intercaste married people. This Court, at this stage, does not express any view on the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondents, more particularly, the third respondent to consider and decide. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.07.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. Such exercise shall be done by the third respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
