ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings in DVC No.17 of 2018, pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Thiruvannamalai.
2. During the pendency of this proceedings, the marriage has been dissolved by mutual consent by judgment dated 19.06.2019, passed by the Principal Sub Court, Thiruvannamalai. The judgment and decree is also placed before this Court.
3. It is seen from the judgment that the respondent has specifically stated that she has taken back the entire articles and she does not have any other claim against the first petitioner. In view of such stand being taken by the respondent, no useful purposed will be served by keeping the proceedings pending before the Court below. The respondent have been served with notice and her name has also been printed in the cause list. She is neither present in person nor https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
represented by a counsel.
In view of the above, the proceedings in DVC No.17 of 2018, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Thiruvannamalai, is hereby quashed and accordingly this Criminal original Petition is allowed.
consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
